Scary Gross
If you are looking to be grossed out then this is the book for you. But if you are looking to be scared then you might want to look elsewhere.
The Troop isn’t scary but it is scary gross. It’s a strong book too. It’s well written, the plot is interesting and the characters are well developed. I enjoyed the book as well as the narration and performance but this book is not a must-read.
I know it gets a lot of hype on TiKTok and it’s good but it’s not THAT good. If there is something else on your TBR list that you are more excited for then I would recommend you read that first.
