A really beautifully written and inspiring book. Aro-ace visibility is so important and “Loveless” does a good job at making you understand this sexuality better. Even as none asexual or aromantic person I found myself relating to Georgia a lot. I used to make up crushes as well and convinced myself I actually liked them because of the sheer pressure from society to like someone in that way. And if someone like me (who has no problem falling in love with people but just does not have crushes nonstop) had to suffer from these expectations, I simply can’t imagine how hard it can be to come to terms with the fact that you are not able to have romantic feelings for someone. Thank you Alice Oseman for this beautiful book that made me realise how truly damaging our society’s focus on romance is.
