First Comes Scandal by Julia Quinn

A bit of a long exposition set up, too much cat and family, however it was pretty surprising in its sweetness overall. I particularly liked the male character and his open kindness. This was in many ways a very ordinary comic romance but with extremely likable characters. Quinn is a very good author in terms of overall warmth.
