F*ckboy Psychos by C.M. Stunich

4.0

I really do love CM Stunich. I started reading her novels about a year ago and promptly devoured everything that she has ever written. I will start off by saying that I did really like this book. Scarlett
is perfectly written and sometimes I forget that she is still in High School. I do not particularly enjoy high school romances but because the central plot in the book is so heavy, it is something that I can get past. That being said... the book is fantastic.

We meet Scarlett, who is the leader of her "crew" and is ruling Prescott High with a stiletto nailed fist. We are introduced to South Prescott and immediately immersed in the culture and lifestyles of these kids who by all accounts are pretty much left to their own devices.

Cars rule in South Prescott and the classic cars that these kids built with sweat and tears deserve their own character recognition. Scarlett's beloved Pantera is a central character in its own right. South Prescott kids spend all their free time at the track, racing the rich Oak Valley Prep kids for swag. The track gives Scarlett a kingdom to reign over and subjects to rule. Things are starting to change around South Prescott and Scarlett is not the only one who is noticing.

Typically we see reverse harems that start because of a group of guys who are already connected in some way. The F*ckboy Psychos are all truly psychopaths and that is really where the similarities end. Bringing 5 people together throughout a multitude of f*cked up circumstances is a feat that we have seen CM Stunich do time and time again. I am excited to see where she takes the characters in book two.

Scarlett Force is exactly that: a force . Definitely worth a read.
