This is another book I picked up from the library not knowing much about it and I was pleasantly surprised. This book very much felt like the first book in a series but I think it’s setting up a very interesting world and I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes. I also enjoyed that Raina didn’t want to have a speaking a voice. I thought it was great having a mute character who’s accepting and proud of herself and those around her have learned her sign language and don’t try to change that about her.0
