The Enceladus Mission by Brandon Q. Morris

1.0

I couldn't even finish it. I wanted to like this book. I really did. I gave this book a chance despite its lackluster writing. The writing is very bland, more like a lab report than a novel. I found some explanations very hard to digest the way they were written out. I forgave what I could and stuck it out. The characters are not developed and it is hard to connect with any of them. The dialogue is bland and robotic and not accurate to how people tend to speak.

I really wanted to finish it, but I just couldn't. I couldn't muscle my way through the story, especially when there is a "big reveal" on the ship about the commander. That's when I just had to put the book down.

I found the premise of the novel interesting, but the execution of the story left much to be desired.
