This was a good fun time.

Good stuff:
- Excellent banter and chemistry between love interests;
- Nice world-building of a magical steampunk world, including covering trans issues in an affirming manner;
- I love reading about trans characters that are allowed to be trans and have a good time and just live their lives.

Not so good stuff:
- Very obvious (especially from Chapter 3 onward) that this book could've used more editing time; there are quite a few typos, mismatched tenses and such, as well as unnecessary repetition, and sentences that were very obviously started with one thing in mind and finished with another (so much so that a couple times they didn't even make sense).
- The hashing out of reasons 'preventing' the relationship also felt a bit repetitive, one of the characters just kept repeating the same thing over and over.
