I was really looking forward to this book. I have enjoyed Kendra Donovan since I read the first book in the series. This book was going about as expected with Kendra still having trouble adapting to being in the past and coming to grips with possibly not being able to return to her time. Kendra, the Duke and Alex were conducting a murder investigation in a town they passing through. I was thoroughly enjoying this book and then there was a twist at the end that made me want the book to keep going.
I cannot wait for the next Kendra Donovan mystery.
