It's true what they say: don't read anything about this book before reading it. It took a while for me to get into the writing and personally it was just a liiiiiittle bit wordy with the descriptions but it's a me problem because my attention span is severely short. But when it reached the climax and the action I was invested and I had half a mind to just read to the end because I was so curious about how it would end. I held myself back because I knew it was gonna be better to read through it. I was about 3/5 right. The conclusion was satisfying in a sense but I can't help but wish for just a tiny bit more. I just love the main character and I wish I could give him a hug.
Moderate: Confinement, Gun violence, Kidnapping, Death, and Gaslighting
