Filthy English by Ilsa Madden-Mills

3.0

So after reading Dirty English, I was on a high and couldn't wait for this book. I couldn't wait to read about Dax and catch up with Declan and Elizabeth. So with that being said this book sadly didn't do it for me at all. I wasn't sucked in the way I was with DE. The main characters were too wishy washy for me. They had a past and yet they couldn't still get their act together. It was too much back and forth and I just wasn't feeling the connection with them at all. I found myself more interested in the scenes with Luna, Spider, Declan and Elizabeth. I did like how Dax interacted with Malcolm.Malcolm is Remi's younger brother who is autistic. Dax didn't treat him any different and I loved seeing those interactions. We did have a very touching moment in the book that was unexpected but in the end this book just didn't "wow" me like Dirty English.
