Jessa Hastings writing is so good! These stories draw you in even when you don’t expect to be drawn in. Unlike some of the reviews I read, I actually preferred Daisy’s story over Magnolia’s. I felt like I was rooting for her to get a happy ending and even though it ended on a slight cliffhanger, I think we got a solid ending to this part of the series. There were a few times I got lost with the switching of characters and where we were in the storyline - especially when I jumped to something I remember happening in Magonlia’s story that wasn’t previously mentioned in Daisy’s story. For this reason, I would definitely say it’s important to read the books in order up to this point.
Graphic: Death, Violence, Blood, Death of parent, Murder, and Injury/Injury detail
