The Complete Maus, by Art Spiegelman

dark emotional sad tense medium-paced

5.0

"Everything Vladek went through. It's a miracle he survived.
- Uh-huh. But in some ways he didn't survive."

Maus
is such a powerful story, in a medium that I believe is one of the best to convey such a difficult topic such as the Holocaust to a wider audience.

It was touching and heartbreaking and didn't shy in telling the horror of the war, Nazism and Holocaust.
