The premise of the book seemed interesting, but as the story started developing, I felt a bit disappointed. I felt like it wasn't about anything because so little happened throughout the book, yet that "nothing" was written in so much detail that at certain points I found it boring. The ending felt rushed too. It's like the writer wanted to squeeze everything into the last 100 pages. And the love storyline? It was underwhelming. We didn't get to know the love interests that much, there was barely any communication between Daisy and the boys and we're supposed to think that they have a special connection? Honestly, it's hard to believe. There's no depth to the characters, barely any action, Daisy's phone addiction could have been explored more too.
I was not impressed, to say the least. This book was just FINE. But fine isn't enough for a reread.
