•What did I think of this book?
This was a good read. It shows how we adapt after actions of our childhood. Or react to trama. At 12 years old, Chloe Davis comes face to face with true fear when one of the people who was supposed to protect and love her might be a killer. On the 20th anniversary of the killings and close to her wedding day. Girls start to go missing, and someone is sending a message. But to who? Some secrets aren't meant to stay buried.
.
•Quotes:
~ Scared of sharing a roof with a monster– a monster that hid in plain sight. Like an alligator gliding across the surface of the water. –p.241
