“I mean, I’m only a couple of days into this whole Osteomancer thing, but I think it’s safe to say that I am killing it,”
MOTHERFUCKERRRR OMG.
what a fantastic first book to a series! like wow chefs kiss. i’m so mad at myself for putting it off for this long! lennox as a main character is so badass. she doesn’t take any shit straight out the gate, whether that be from rogan or from her own family. but she has her own quirky moments too that i absolutely love; like how she just babbles for a little too long…
the dynamic this author has created between her and rogan is so perfect. like there’s obviously the sexual attraction but then the author is able to balance the fact that he fucked her over within 2 minutes of meeting her. so what do you do when you’re stuck with an attractive stranger for an extended amount of time? you awkwardly get to know each other through roundabout conversations and with loadsssss of distrust 😁
and then mind you! the events of this book take place within like, 4 days IF that. more like 2-3
“I’m going to kill you and grind your bones to dust. Then I’ll curse them so that you come back every week just so I can kill you again. I’m going to spend my entire existence making you suffer,”
