Georgia Peaches and Other Forbidden Fruit by Jaye Robin Brown

3.0

This book was a chance find, but the premise of a girl who loves her family and her faith and herself having to change parts of her very self is one that resonates. It is mostly filled with light-hearted romantic comedy but there are many poignant moments that explore the intersection between faith and queer identity. If anyone is looking for a story that reflects the idea that being Christian and being queer does not have to be mutually exclusive, then this is a great read.
