not bad but not good either, but this comes from someone whos reading preferences lay very far from this book's style. i mostly read this as a way to challenge myself into reading different things and because i was interested in the drama i knew from the movie adaptation. however, i was not aware that this is actually a series, and that the movie is mostly based of the second part of it, and so i got stuck with spoiled children (looking right at amy), lowkey boring tales and a religious propaganda. still there were some captivating and wholesome moments, but i am not sure i will move on to the next book, specially since i almost dnfed it when my favorite march almost died and now she is sick again on the second book's summary.
