Few times have I read anything that made me feel the way this book did. ! The characters were so well written that I simultaneously  loved and hated them although the one slight drawback I had was that sometimes the characters were slightly unbearable but ultimately flawed characters often make a compelling book! It's the kind of book that makes you struggle to read anything else afterwards. Platonic love is so rarely written about but in this book it was presented in such a beautiful way. Read it please, you will never recover from it.  
The author is a Zionist I believe though so buy the book second hand if you can!
