Genevieve Graham's ability to take Canadian history and weave it into a fictional story is unbelievably amazing.
Letters Across the Sea was a fantastic, but heart breaking book. I absolutely adored the FMC, Molly, and how she stood up for herself and her friends. Her determination to write the truth about the war and treatment of people was inspiring.
I really enjoyed her friendship with Hannah was so sweet and I'm so glad they came back to each other. And sweet ol Max was a fabulous character and my heart ached for him.
Sgt Gander the Newfoundland dog was the best 🥺
