Hold Me Until Morning by A.L. Jackson

5.0

Every time I read a book by the author I think to myself that there is no way she can top it. And then she blows me away. Cody and Hailey knew each other in the past and had great chemistry, but tragedy put them in different places. Hailey blamed herself for Brooke's tragic ending. Cody thought Brooke was telling the true about having a no strings attached fling. But as the story unraveled, we found out many sordid details about Hailey's father and husband, and the depths of criminal behavior they would get immersed in. Cody always knew he wasn't good enough for Hailey; her father told him so, but also he did some underhanded things to get money to help his mother and sisters survive. From the moment they met again, there was this connection, this pull toward each other. When Hailey's world crumbles, Cody is there to help her mend the pieces.

“I love you, Hailey. You got me. All my days. All my tomorrows. Every night and every morning.”

I loved his interactions with Maddie and Lolly. I loved how they made a family with their friends from the first three books. I loved all the little and big things that made this story phenomenal.

I received an advance copy of this book at my request and voluntarily left this review.
