Worth the Fight by Vi Keeland

3.0

I didn't love or hate this book. It was just a decent read that provided some entertainment.
My biggest issue with the story was that it was like I was watching a movie that went from scene to scene with a fade out using a dissolving effect. It was just a series of time jumps that didn't keep me as connected with the story as it should have. Just as I was getting into the scene it would dissolve and fade into the next. It felt like it was just a series of connected memories, not a quite a fully depicted story (which, in all fairness, perhaps it's rather fitting considering the heroine has a photographic memory). Though, I'll admit that perhaps I'm being harsh. There was a full story, it just seemed to vignette-y to me, I guess, for lack of a better way to put it.
I liked the story, I enjoyed the characters, yet something I can't fully determine is prohibiting me from loving this book.
I think I'm going to have to wait to read the reviews before I decide if I will read the next book in the series..
