this is definitely added to my list of favorite books that coho has given us. samson and beyah’s relationship TORE me apart in all the right ways.
the way they describe soulmates is that the other half of your soul is being returned to you; something you’ve lost only to spend the rest of your life searching for what can make you whole again.
i think it’s easy to say that neither of them had easy childhoods, and the belief of love may as well have been shot down in a far off window in another realm. but to watch these two characters come together and find things in each other they were missing in everyone else was ugh so beautiful. i LOVED the way she wrote these two and will forever dictate her as the queen of twisting a story completely around at the last second
