Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I'm not sure what I expected going into this book, but boy was I wrong. Perfectly spooky and tense - Hendrix is fantastic at keeping the tension high. There was some very descriptive body horroran eye injury, an incident with a power saw, and general "beating up" , but it was not the whole book and was easy enough to skip if you don't like that.
My only complaint is that the ending got a little silly.
