Sweet romance

I liked this story a lot. There were many endearing qualities and I’m very happy to have picked up this book. I read it all in one go (it’s nearly 2am!!)
Perdita has a secret and a series of events makes it even harder to share that secret until it’s impossible to keep hidden any longer.
The characters aren’t these perfect people with 100% wonderful qualities. There’s plenty of times when I found myself saying “come on girl, don’t be a fool!” I think that of course adds to the tension of the story.
Two things to note:
One- there is some time hopping in this book. For the most part the author has the different times in their own separate chapters but I did find it a bit confused for like half a second.
Two- chapter 2 or 3 (I forget which) has a particular scene that some might feel is a trigger warning. It could also be that I recently read a serial killer novel and so my imagination was on the far far end! But it did freak me out a bit until of course all things were cleared up. I know I’m making no sense, I’m trying to be vague.

I do recommend you read this novel. It was definitely enjoyable and a light read.
