I don’t usually read thrillers but I saw this book when I was out shopping and remembered Haley Pham recommended it so I decided to go for it. In the end, I’m glad I did.

Imo it started off pretty slowly and only really started picking up around halfway, but once you get past all the tension building it gets good.
I wasn’t really a fan of Millie, however after we (spoiler?) got Nina’s pov of the whole story, I got pretty invested and basically flew through the second half.
Overall I enjoyed it, the characters did end up growing on me as we understood them better. I didn’t really see the twists coming from afar and they were actually good and made sense within the story. I recommend if you’re looking for a fairly quick and engaging read and like (spoiler) seeing evil men get punished for their actions 🫡
