East of Redemption by Molly E. Lee

5.0

Words cannot express my love for Molly Lee and her writing. She gives you such a unique take with epic romance entwined within that it is such a page turning and keeps you guessing. I honestly found myself pulled so deep into this story like the caves Easton was hunting that I did not want out of this rabbit hole.
What I really loved about this book is that you have two amazing leads. Rain, who is from Easton's past and doesn't back down. Whether it be from her photography to going along with Easton to finally getting Easton to open up and finally opening her heart again. Easton is all kinds of swoon worthy. Tough but broken. Jaded but still in love with Rain because of his own faults. The blame he felt for as long as he did. These two together are pure magic and play so well off of each other. Their chemistry and their banter was classic. The little twists and turns Lee incorporated made the book even more enjoyable. I loved how she was his raindrop and he was her compass and together they mirror each other. It's like she purifies his soul and he keeps her going in the right direction, always coming back to that one direction of him.
Overall this book is one of my faves so far this year. So was Edge of Chaos. Lee gives such a one of a kind tale. Characters that are broken yet can be mended. Tales that are unique and one of a kind. Second chance love that is one of a kind. One thing is for sure is Molly Lee is one of those authors to watch out for. For she will be bringing us more of these amazing stories for a long time to come.
