This is part of a series. So start with addicted to you and work your way up to this book. I recommend reading the Calloway sisters spin off along with the addicted series. I found it easier to know what was going on and references.

The books are about Lily and Lo who both struggle with addiction. Their addiction is a big part of the book and in the first couple it is quite graphic with descriptions of him getting wasted everyday. And she also has addiction which is a common challenge for her throughout the books. If you get triggered by these things I would not advise you read these books.
