This is a fun read. She's a little quirky and due to a medical issue, somewhat awkward at times (mostly when she's in the presence of her crush,) but she's also got spirit and spunk. He is literally book boyfriend material. Perfect in just about every way. So there's no possible way he would be interested in her, right? This is a slow burn (no smexy time until the last 20%,) forced proximity, Captain America in canine form, RVing road trip, fantastic side characters, plenty of laughs, and one heck of a Dedication. This book was easy to read and hard to put down. It gets your attention right off the bat, and holds it until the very end. It's well written and you can really feel what the characters are feeling. There are also a few 'Easter Eggs' throughout if you are familiar with the authors other books. ;) There is some sexual content (as mentioned above, not until later in the book,) so it's not all about the physical. After a rough start, she makes the most of an uncomfortable situation, despite her medical troubles, which could have made things even worse for her. It alternates between POVs. I wanna say this is more suited for mature readers, but with the limited amount of that sexual content, I'd hate for some of those slightly younger readers to miss out on a great story, so...
