Paper Hearts by Claire Contreras

I liked this better than the first book, a lot more. The angst was great if a little too stretched out and left me thinking enough was enough. This may have been a four star read had I found the premise on which the whole drama was based somewhat confusing and weak.
SpoilerThe H and the h were on a break, they were both seeing other people, and reading between the lines in sexual relationship with others. To then feel so betrayed by the H, when the OW becomes preggers, wasn't warranted. She acted as if he'd cheated on her. Indeed the plot would have hung better had he cheated on her. I can't help but project what I think I'd do, but if a guy meant all that too me, I'd never agree to 'a you see others and I will too' relationship.

Then we had the whole push pull thing that occurred in the first book, but yet again while the H grovelled so so beautifully, the h played games. I hate it when the H is ringing the h and all the h does is avoid him for days. And this is when they're supposed to be in a relationship. Immature and stupid.
There is a certain inconsistency in the logic on which the whole romance is based, yet while that niggled at the back of my head, I mostly enjoyed this.
