I had mixed feelings about this. I liked it in the beginning, got really annoyed in the middle and I liked the end. The beginning was all world building and establishment and by the middle of the book i got annoyed bc i felt like it was still just world building and establishment. I also felt like Cinder discovered nothing on her own and that made things less interesting. Any important information was simply given to her by mainly the doctor or the programmer girl who shows up randomly at the end who I assume is Cress which was kinda meh in my opinion, but it is YA so it’s understandable i guess. Which is also why I’m excusing the fact that I was able to predict the major plot points early on lmao. I probably would’ve liked it more if I was the target demographic.
Despite my gripes, i did find the overall plot interesting and although i dont wanna commit to reading a series ill probably at least read the wiki to see what happens.

Graphic: Death and Terminal illness
Moderate: Racism and Xenophobia
