the depiction of shame and internalized homophobia is so ! and the way it talks on how cishet patriarchy values can fall into queer relationships usually by playing onto the shame queer folks ( or in this instance gay men) have to be seen as the “woman” and the “man” in the relationship is soo! alongside the commentary of what it exactly it means to be a women in a cishet relationship especially in the time taken place! baldwin lowkeg ate that
