!PLEASE READ TRIGGER WARNINGS BEFORE READING THIS BOOK!
Wow. I really enjoyed this book, the way it's written is just beautiful and it's littered with words and phrases that have so much more meaning behind them than what the eye can see. It's very triggering, so if you're in a bad place mentally maybe put off reading this for a while until you feel like you've come out of the dark, if I was in a bad place mentally I just know I would have unfortunately relapsed. It's a great book to read if you've ever felt lonely in your life and it helped me to understand and put into words things I didn't know how to say or describe. I related to the main character, Charlie, a lot; not only do we share the same first name but we share a couple other things and I felt a really close connection to her - I want to give her the biggest hug in the world :( The only negative thing I will say though is that I feel as though in some places the story dragged on a bit and there are some things which could have been cut out, the words used to depict certain thoughts and feelings and actions are very harsh - which does add to the experience of reading this book.
