Do I love this more than TOTY???
Hah! Like I could ever try to pick a favourite, by the gods, this was so beautiful. I really appreciated that Wardell didn't put them through a big 11th hour crisis, poor Theo and Sheldon were not built for THAT level of mishigas. On that note, I usually hate fake dating - it's usually a ridiculous contrivance that threatens to freeze my face into a permanent cringe. M&M made it a far less stressful, and more believable element. I wonder if the author set out to deliberately deconstruct the trope and turn it into a realistic catalyst for a romance, or if he accidentally did that by virtue of Good Writing Practices™. Whatever the case, Theo and Sheldon captured my heart and soul and I was wrapt by the evolution of their love for each other.
