Moon Knight, Vol. 1: The Midnight Mission by Jed Mackay

4.0

Moon Knight does like punching vampires. This character is always a wild ride, and Mackay's run with the character is no exception.

From swarms of stabby senior citizens, to new agents of Khonshu, to old friends returning--Mr. Knight has a new place of business and an old mission as he tries to make peace with the darker parts of his past and continue traveling those placed under his protection. Between the many facets of Moon Knight's personalities and his complex grief over past mistakes, he remains the violent, enigmatic, and fiercely convicted antihero he has been. With a new iteration of himself, a new vampire receptionist, and a new therapist--Marc Spector and company are in new territory that is also just what they've always done. Vol. 1 is a sometimes rocky but always engaging opening to the newest section of Moon Knight's adventures.
