I loved the first book and was excited to pick this one up. I was planning on savouring it as the third book isn’t out yet but simply wasn’t able to put it down. I had to know what was going to happen.

That being said I didn’t love this book as much as the first one - I enjoyed the world building and the multiple POVs among other things and although I do love a bit of spice I do think some of the spicy scenes in this book were unnecessary and made me cringe
