Tabitha ends up in prison, charged with murdering a scion of her village. She decides to represent herself to maintain her innocence, and then must work out, from prison who actually did it. Lots of dark secrets abound among the entire village. The English judicial system as portrayed will have Americans scratching their heads, but it was interesting to note differences. Would be an enjoyable beach read for those who don't like chick lit/romances.
