The Silver Siren by Chanda Hahn

5.0

While the Silver Siren didn't immediately start where The Steele Wolf ended, it does after the first scene, while also including a quick recap of the previous events from The Steele Wolf.

I like the fact that answers were given regarding many things: who Raven is, Thalia's heritage on her mother's side, and a few other things. I enjoyed the character development with one of the female side characters, though I don't want to give a name and ruin the story. I liked how the original dynamic between her and Thalia evolved into a friendship. There were quite a few betrayals that were revealed. We finally get the final answer regarding the love triangle. I felt the plot moved steadily, though Thalia is still constantly taken. I felt the epilogue was well done, offering a beautiful ending.

Overall, The Silver Siren was well written, but it didn't hold my attention as much as The Iron Butterfly and The Steele Wolf.

Upon completing this trilogy, this is the seventh book I have read from Chanda Hahn, and I have like every single one of them. Chanda Hahn has a great gift for story telling. The narratives are always smooth and easy going, providing a quick and enjoyable reading experience. Not only will I reread the books I have read thus far, I will also continue to check out more works from the author.
