First Impressions by Jay Hogan

3.0

Struggled with rating this.
It could have been great but things that let it down.
Pacing felt off, lots of stuff just happened off page
we never saw anything from Michael's pov about going after Sasha/getting beat up a second time/found by the police

'Wolf-man' annoyed the hell out of me. Not sure why but it just threw me out the story.
So much casual sexism throughout as well - I'll lose my man card type comments
Changing pov mid chapter isn't my preference
Josh's parents were grade A w*nkers with toxic and hurtful opinions that never should have been allowed around a child. Especially one saying she doesn't want to see them.

It doesn't deserve a 2 because it was well written and a good story, but I've read later books by this author and can definitely see this an earlier one of theirs.
