Lone Wolf Rising by Jami Brumfield

5.0

This book was great! There may be a glut of vampire/werewolf books, but this one is definitely worth reading. The supernatural beings are more in tune with the traditional aspect of their characteristics. No sparkly vampires. The writing was polished, with some minor errors, but as a writer myself, I know how difficult it is to catch them all. "Lone Wolf Rising" at times reminded me of Sherrilyn Kenyon's paranormal stories, except Jami Brumfield's has more depth to the story, and fortunately lacks the eroticism. The story is long, but I hardly noticed as I kept reading through to the end, only having to take a break to sleep. I highly recommend this. I've already downloaded the continuation of the story.
