I bought this because my name is in the title and I couldn’t resist.
It’s a very short novel (novella or long short story really) of a rather unlikeable but compelling aging actress ruminating on her successes and failures of fame, her more successful competitor and friend Gigi, aging, and other random bits. It’s largely stream of consciousness with paragraph breaks so the formatting isn’t for everyone but it makes for a quick read.
Won’t stick with me beyond the title but I did appreciate how the author created a fully realized and flawed character in 55 pages.
