What a weird and unsettling study of humanity. It reminds me a lot of that Marina Abramovic performance where people could do whatever they wanted to her and as she stood in silence, the things people did grew more and more violent. Was it just because she had no say in it? Or had no right to say anything? This book is a longer meditation on that.
