This is my second Pen book and I do like it a lot but after Credence I just don’t know if anything can top it for my number one!
I did enjoy that the FMC wasn’t very loveable right off the bat and I liked the conflict, however I did find these twists slightly predictable but that’s probably just by the hints in context. I also wish there was a little bit more exploration of the grief that Mishanwas going through instead of him just focusing on Ryen but I get it’s a romance so…
Overall I had quite a bit of enjoyment from this one and after hearing about The Devils Night books and seeing those characters I’m going to start Corrupt next!
