Second House from the Corner by Sadeqa Johnson

Started off a little slow for me but once Felicia got back to her craft it started picking up, new characters were introduced and past skeletons were threatening to come out. Everybody got a past, no matter how well they may look put together, you never know what a person went through to get there. But I think it's key to remember it yourself so you don't repeat past mistakes. Overall this was a well written story and well narrated. If you like family, friend and relationship drama, you'll probably enjoy this story. It also touched on women and motherhood, finding that balance between having a life and making a life for your husband and kids. This also had a chick-lit feel because of that motherhood aspect.
