I can’t tell if I liked this book’s story a lot, but its visuals are rather stunning. I’m not super endeared to any of the characters, but maybe that’ll come in the next book? Often, I had to take a second look at the artwork so I could better understand what was going on. The action scenes could be confusing and a bit jarring to look at. The style is beautiful, but the storytelling aspect of it needs work. The plot is interesting enough for me to want to find the next book.
