The Iron Legends by Julie Kagawa

I was so excited once I saw that the novellas were coming out in their own books. I don't read ebooks because what's the point of spending hours on the computer reading ebooks since I don't have an ebook reader? Besides the point, I'm so happy I picked this up! Though since I read the books in the beginning of the read getting into them again was a little hard. Winter's Passage, was eh. Interesting I suppose and suspenseful but it's hard to read that since having read all four of the books Ash and Meghan changed so much it's odd reading them in a different light again.

Summer Crossing, best one! I loved reading the novella from Puck's point of view. He is the only one in the series who we have not delved into his mind. I wish we could get more of that. I doubt we will seeing as that the characters from The Iron Fey series will only make guest appearance in Ethan's novel. But still there is hope! I loved that we got to see more of Ash and Puck's relationship in this. It showed what they were going to get into once again as they became friends at the end of The Iron Knight. It was fun trying to keep up with Puck's tricks.

The Iron Prophecy, ah, bit underwhelmed for this one. It didn't seem like anything new. We knew she would be having a baby. I mean that first dizzy spell? *sigh* I liked the small glimpse we got into the Iron Realm though. We we had gotten more and that it wasn't just centered around the prophecy that has been following Ash and Meghan since the beginning. It was a nice wetting of the palate though for the next series of books.
