I think it started off a little slow trying to get to know this many characters but it really picked up. It was very important to get both the main characters POVs. There was a big twist in the end that was so shocking to me. A lot of this book was so tense and tragic so you have to be in the mood for that. Also I wish I knew more about music because the composing seemed like it would be more interesting if you knew music lingo
