MUSTIQUE ISLAND by Sarah McCoy is a mother-daughter drama in a gorgeous setting!

⭐⭐⭐⭐

I wasn't exactly sure what this story would be, and it took me a minute to get into it. Once I figured it out, I let the family grow and allowed the events to carry me into a lovely story. (Synopsis on last slide.)

I did pair this book (thank you @suethebookie for one of your giveaways!) with the audio and it was fantastic! Cassandra Campbell narrates and really brings Willy May and her daughters Hilly and Joanne to life.

Centered around this island retreat that Willy May buys into, the stage is really set for the glamorous and rollicking ways of the 1970's. While I really couldn't care less about British royals or celebrities, this addition was based on facts and made the story colorful! What I really liked was how the ending came together in a way that was hard and real and what I had hoped for while reading. It wasn't super tidy, which I prefer, but it ended well.

After a bunch of darker reads, this was a nice island drama that hit me right.
