And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie

4.0

I really enjoyed this book! It did take me a few pages to get into but by the end of the first chapter I was hooked, and ended up finishing it in one sitting! I know Agatha Christie has a good rep so I was expecting this book to be good anyway and I’d say it lives up to expectations.

I was worried it was going to have one of the endings where the “whodunnit” ends up being a random character we get introduced to at the very end (*cough* Bella Mackay - How to kill your family) but thankfully Agatha Christie was able to avoid a disappointing and rushed ending.

The only complaint I would have was that due to there being 10 main characters I often found myself getting confused as to whom was who, I think Agatha Christie could have done a slightly better job at differentiating each of the characters especially the men. If she had been more descriptive I would have found it easier to distinguish between each of them :)
