Huge trigger warnings: sexual assault, rape, physical abuse, graphic abortion, incest, domestic violence. I was expecting a cozier, witchy sort of mystery and this was much heavier than I was anticipating. The core of the story is the abuse that women have endured for centuries at the hands of men.
