Everyone says that the first book is very choppy, the characters were great but the story was lacking.
Something is lacking from this book, but I don't think it's the story? I think it's the world itself. The characters are great but the world building is really dull and lacking for me.
I just feel very divided when it comes to this book. Maybe, eventually, I'll read book two. It's just not on my list to read ASAP.
